Conductor Sir John Eliot Gardiner will join us for our Beethoven celebration on 3rd November.

As principal cellist of Sir John Eliot Gardiner’s Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique for over a decade, Robin Michael interviews Sir John Eliot on topics ranging from his desire to create an period orchestra to perform primarily at the outset, the works of Beethoven and Berlioz, the French Revolution and how this permeates the fabric of so many of Beethoven’s works and the Beethoven symphony cycles that the ORR and Gardiner will undertake in 2020 throughout North America and Europe, 25 years after he first recorded them.
